Digitization has consequences, from additional tracking to growing interest in non-traditional products, and yet many of the factors that contribute to a successful Open Enrollment process remain the same.

Even before the outbreak of COVID-19, more group insurers than ever before are relying on third-party digital platforms to conduct Open Enrollment. That was the chief finding of RGA's first survey of major North American group insurers since 2017 on the all-important open enrollment period. Digitization has consequences, from additional tracking to growing interest in non-traditional products, and yet many of the factors that contribute to a successful Open Enrollment process remain the same.
